The European GNSS Supervisory Authority (GSA) will host a major event to launch GNSS activities under the Seventh Research Framework Programme (FP7). Includes GALILEO Technology and Application Showcase and FP7 Information Day. FP7 runs from 2007 to 2013. GALILEO and other GNSS R&D activities are addressed under Theme 7, ‘Transport, including Aeronautics’, of the Programme’s ‘Co-operation’ activities. Four main research areas have been defined for the GALILEO sub-theme:
